I am a watercolor and mixed media artist from Montreal, Quebec. My father was a scenic artist at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation from its launch in 1952 and I grew up with art in my veins. I started to develop my artistic talents more seriously in the mid 1990s when I enrolled in watercolor painting. Honestly, I started with watercolors because the course was at a convenient time. I had no idea people considered it a difficult medium, and thought it was me. Watercolor painting taught me to accept errors and make the most of accidents, a skill that was transferable to my challenging work life.
